Ms Ong is responsible for driving the growth of HSBC’s business banking franchise in Hong Kong, strengthening the Bank’s commitment to support SMEs and startups through its expertise, extensive network and continuous digital innovations.

With more than 25 years of experience with HSBC, Christina has held various key management roles spanning client coverage across SMEs, mid-market segment and large corporates, strategy and propositions, as well as marketing.

In her previous role as Managing Director, Corporate, Commercial Banking in Hong Kong, Ms Ong had been instrumental in building HSBC’s industry specialty corporate coverage strategy, and in driving digital and sustainable initiatives for corporate clients. Chan has been active in public services including education, industrial training, professional bodies and charitable organisations. Ir. Chan holds a BSc. Raymond Wong

Savio Kwan

Savio Kwan was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Alibaba Group from 2001 to 2003 and served as Chief People Officer for the year 2004 before stepping down from full-time executive duties and was formerly the Independent Non Executive Director at Alibaba.com since 2008, the listed B2B unit of Alibaba Group, until the company has been privatized in June 2012. During his time at Alibaba, Savio saw the company transformed from an internet start-up with just over 150 staffs burning close to US$2M per month into one of the world’s biggest B2B Company with over 2,500 staffs generating over US$5M surplus cash per month.

Savio has 30 years of global management experience, including seventeen years at General Electric and four years as the Managing Director of the China operations of BTR plc, a UK-based Fortune 500 company. Mr. Kwan also served as a board member of the Asia Pacific Advisory Board of York International, a leading global air conditioning system provider and a unit of Johnson Control listed in the New York Stock Exchange.

Savio’s career includes 17 years of high-level management at General Electric Medical Systems where he had responsibilities for sales, marketing, operations, business development, and establishment of joint venture companies in Asia. Among his accomplishments at GE, Mr. Kwan grew the China Medical business from zero revenues to US$70 million revenues in less than 4 years.

At BTR, Savio was Managing Director for the China operations of 8 manufacturing subsidiaries with some US$150M sales which he built through merger and acquisitions in the space of under three years.

In 2005 Savio co-founded A & K Consulting with Malcolm Au and serves in the capacity of Partner and CEO. He is also a Visiting Executive Professor of Henley Business School, a unit of Reading University in the UK. He also won the Alumni Achievement Award of the London Business School in 2011.

In January 2014, Savio joined the main board of British American Tobacco Group as Non Executive Director.

Savio was born in Hong Kong and is a UK national. He pursued an undergraduate diploma at Cambridgeshire College of Technology and received Master of Science degrees from both the London Business School and Loughborough University in the UK.

Dr. Allan Zeman

Dr. Allan Zeman, BM, GBS, JP, founded the Colby International Group in 1975 to source and export fashion apparel to North America. In late 2000, The Colby International Group merged with Li & Fung Limited. Dr. Zeman then founded and is the Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Group, a major property owner and developer in Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong Area, one of Hong Kong’s most popular tourist and entertainment districts. The new California Tower at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong which features cues to the Group’s flair for design and attracted the top leisure brands that will take the district to new heights. Dr. Zeman is also the Chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Association.

Dr. Zeman is the Vice Patron of Hong Kong Community Chest and serves as a director of the "Star" Ferry Company, Limited. Dr. Zeman also serves as the Non-Executive Director of Pacific Century Premium Developments Limited and is an independent non-executive director of Sino Land Company Limited, Tsim Sha Tsui Properties Limited, Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) and Fosun Tourism Group, all of which are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Having lived in Hong Kong for over 50 years, Dr. Zeman has been very involved in government services as well as community activities. Besides having been the Chairman of Hong Kong Ocean Park, a major theme park in Hong Kong, from July 2003 to June 2014 and is now an honorary advisor. Dr. Zeman is a member of the board of Governors of The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Dr. Zeman was a member of the Board of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, and the chairman of its Performing Arts Committee from 2008 to 2016 and is now a honorary advisor.

In March 2018, Dr. Zeman was appointed by the HKSAR Chief Executive as a member of the HKSAR Chief Executive's Council of Advisers on Innovation and Strategic Development. Dr. Zeman has also been a member of the Human Resources Planning Commission (HRPC) since March 2018.

In 2001, Dr. Zeman was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in Hong Kong. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2004 and the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2011. In 2008, Dr. Zeman was awarded Business Person of the Year by the Hong Kong Business Award. In 2012, Dr. Zeman was awarded Honorary Doctorate Degrees of Business Administration from City University of Hong Kong and University of Science and Technology of Hong Kong. Andrew Lo
