Company Tour
Take a company tour of Alibaba Office in Hong Kong. Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Alibaba’s innovative culture and entrepreneurship.

Startup Local Tour
Take part in an experiential sightseeing tour of the Hong Kong startup ecosystem. Explore the city’s best “startup attractions” and famous “landmarks” with a professional guide.

Who can Apply?
  • Any secondary school student aged 12 to 19 in Hong Kong with a passion for entrepreneurship is eligible.
  • School team submission: Your application has to be submitted on a school team basis; Individual submission is not accepted. EACH SCHOOL CAN SUBMIT MORE THAN 1 APPLICATION.
  • Form a TEAM OF 4 and INVITE 1 TEACHER as your team’s guardian.

FAQ
What is a MVP? What do I need to do for the first round?

A MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is the simplest plan of your idea. i.e. If your ultimate goal is to help eliminate all the plastic waste on all school campuses in the world, your MVP will most likely to be a solution that you can implement in your school first.

  • If you are selected for the Semi Pitch, please give us an idea of what your MVP will be.
  • If you are selected for the Final Pitch, you are required to present your MVP in your pitch.
What kind of business ideas will qualify?

As long as your ideas are related to one of our challenge sectors including “Education”, “Social Innovation” and “Smart Living”, and your plan is financially sustainable, your business ideas will qualify.

Can one teacher represent multiple teams?

Yes

Who is on the panel of judges?

Student startups will be selected and ranked by a panel of judges comprising industry experts, investors and startup experts, who represent local and global startup communities.

Can I revise the submitted pitch deck in the application system?

You can click the submission link and re-submit a revised version of the pitch deck in the system before the application deadline.
